We're on the lookout for a driven, experienced and detail-focused Junior Merchandiser to join our growing merchandising team and manage our wholesale merchandising function.
The Wholesale Junior Merchandiser will support the Merchandiser to ensure the right products are available in the right quantities at the right price to meet our Partnerships’ customer demand and maximise sales. The Wholesale Junior Merchandiser will also be confident analysing market trends and sales data, have experience in managing inventory and capitalising on opportunities to drive profitability and growth.
The key responsibilities of the Wholesale Junior Merchandiser will be to:
Support forecasting annual and seasonal sales for each territory and agent;
Support the Head of Partnerships to curate product ranges for each market based on trends, customer demand and previous demand season sales;
Use data to optimise product mix and stock levels;
Support the Head of Partnerships and Partnership Executive with sample movement to ensure market opening dates are kept;
Ensure partners and agents are aware of their budgets before each market opens;
Track sales performance against budget, feeding back risks or opportunities.
To be invited to interview you must have prior experience within a wholesale specific merchandising role for a retail fashion business. You must also have excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills, be highly organised, be proficient at using Microsoft Excel and have strong analytical skills. You must also have a relevant degree level qualification.
