We have recently been made aware of unauthorized copies of our job vacancies being hosted on fraudulent, third-party scam websites, including Talents by StudySmarter.
These platforms are entirely unaffiliated with Penelope Chilvers. They unlawfully scrape legitimate job postings to harvest jobseeker data, collect personal identity documents, or solicit fees under the guise of an application process.
Verify the application route: Penelope Chilvers will only post official job openings and accept applications directly through our official careers page at https://careers.penelopechilvers.com/ or via our verified corporate profiles on trusted job boards like LinkedIn.
Look at the sender's email: All official communication from our recruitment and HR teams will exclusively come from an official email address ending in @penelopechilvers.com. We will never use public domains like Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo, nor will we use lookalike domains.
Watch out for fees: We will never ask a candidate for payment, background check fees, or bank details at any stage of the application or interview process.
Be cautious with sensitive ID: We will never ask you to provide highly sensitive information—such as a National Insurance number, passport copy, or banking details—prior to a formal, verified job offer.
If you believe you have interacted with a fraudulent posting or have submitted personal information to a scam site posing as us, please contact us immediately so we can investigate. We also strongly recommend reporting the incident directly to Action Fraud or SAFERjobs.
